Downtown I Drive will become the new City Center for the fast growing and dynamic Latin Community in Florida. Consisting of over 30% of the Orlando population but without a central focal point – until now.
Downtown I Drive will create a new district that will become the meeting place for local Latinos to meet, shop, drink, and dance to the vibrant customs of Puerto Rico, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, and Venezuela. Featuring a sophisticated mix of nostalgic brands as well as new up and coming boutiques and specialty shops. Visitors will shop, dine, & relax among Latin focused architect and anchored by the largest Mercado in the United States.
Downtown I Drive will benefit from the record breaking 68 million tourists who flooded the area last year. In the heart of the tourism zone – 2 blocks from International Drive – the main commercial boulevard for tourism in Orlando – Downtown I Drive is strategically located to become a significant tourist attraction for Non-Latinos who want to experience the warm culture of Latin America.
And locals will be shopping as well –Floridians spend more per person on dining out than the average U.S. resident. More then 60,000 people moved to Orlando last year with growth significantly outpacing most other cities at 8% the next 10 years.
The Tourism Boom, rapid population growth – has made Orlando one of the most attractive cities in the world to invest. And has set up Downtown I Drive as the center of the Latin Community in Florida.
